Octopus is included in Gentleman’s Journal’s article, “Dream a Little Bigger, Darling”, a roundup of six of the world’s largest yachts available for charter in 2026.
The publication notes Octopus’ unique place in yachting history, from her origins as the personal yacht of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen to her role in the discovery of the sunken Japanese battleship Musashi. At 126 metres, the iconic Lürssen-built vessel remains one of the most capable expedition yachts in operation, with the ability to navigate Arctic waters and explore some of the world’s most remote destinations.
Combining legendary heritage with exceptional exploration capability, Octopus continues to offer charter guests extraordinary experiences both above and below the surface.
